Terms of Service
The terms for using Veyquo: your account, what Veyquo does on your behalf, what stays your responsibility, and how to stop.
Effective date:
Who you are agreeing with
Veyquo is built by Hence Labs. These terms are an agreement between you and Hence Labs, a company registered in Delaware, United States (“Veyquo”, “we”). By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
What Veyquo does
Veyquo is an AI career agent. It lists job openings collected from public sources and compares them with your job profiles: your whole profile and any others you create, each with its own preferences and resumes. It drafts tailored resumes, cover letters and answers from the facts you give it, or sends a resume you uploaded unchanged if you choose that for a job profile. If you allow it, it submits applications, including through a Job Agent that looks for jobs on its own, and follows the replies in your connected mailbox. If you turn on Fiction mode for a job profile, it also generates material that is not from your facts, as described below. Job listings are shown as their sources publish them; Veyquo does not employ, recruit or represent anyone, and cannot promise that a listing is accurate or still open, or that an application leads to an interview or a job.
Your account
- You need to be at least 16 years old to use Veyquo.
- Keep access to your email address and Google account secure: they are how you sign in. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.
- One person, one account. Do not sign in as someone else.
Your information and what you send
- Your whole profile and your answers must be true. Outside Fiction mode, Veyquo may reword your facts for a particular job, but it does not invent experience, qualifications or answers, and you should not ask it to.
- Review what Veyquo prepares before it is sent. You choose how much Veyquo may do on its own: in Manual mode it never submits, in Copilot mode it asks you before each submission, and in Autopilot mode it submits only within the rules you set. Whatever the mode, an application is sent in your name, and you are responsible for it.
- You keep ownership of what you upload and of the documents prepared for you. You allow Veyquo to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Fiction mode
Fiction mode is off unless you turn it on for a job profile. When it is on, Veyquo keeps the confirmed facts you choose and your real name and contact details, and generates the rest of that job profile's headline, summary, skills and experience. The generated material is not true about you. It never enters your facts, and the documents and answers made from it are not marked as generated when they are sent. Veyquo never generates your answers about work authorisation, legal and demographic questions, salary or sign-in details.
- Using Fiction mode is your choice and your responsibility. An application made with it is sent in your name, and what it says is your representation to the employer, not Veyquo's.
- Do not use Fiction mode where an employer, a job board or the law requires what you submit to be true, and do not use it to apply for work where false information could put someone's safety at risk.
- Veyquo does not check how an employer will treat a Fiction application. To the extent the law allows, you are responsible for what follows from one, including any action an employer takes.
Connected services
Connecting Gmail or Google Calendar is optional and can be undone at any time in Settings. Google's own terms apply to your Google account. When Veyquo submits an application on an employer's site, that site's terms apply to the application too.
Acceptable use
Do not use Veyquo to:
- apply with someone else's information, or with false information other than Fiction mode material used as these terms allow;
- send applications that break an employer's or job board's rules;
- copy job listings or other content from Veyquo in bulk, or by automated means;
- probe, overload or get around the security or limits of Veyquo or of the sites it works with.
Fees
Veyquo has a free plan. Paid plans (Copilot and Autopilot) and credit packs add prepared applications on top of it. Each plan, pack and price is shown on the Pricing page, in US dollars, before you pay; nothing is charged until you confirm a checkout.
- Payments are handled by Stripe, by card or, where Stripe offers it, in a stablecoin. Veyquo does not see or keep your card or wallet details, only a record of the payment.
- A paid plan can be bought monthly, quarterly or yearly. A subscription renews at the end of each term until you cancel; a prepaid term does not renew. You can cancel in Settings at any time, and the plan then stays active until the end of the term you paid for.
- A credit pack is a one-time payment for a set number of prepared applications. Credits expire one year after you buy them.
- Fees buy the capacity listed for the plan, such as prepared applications and submissions each month. They do not buy a higher match, an interview or a job, and they do not change what Veyquo may say about you.
- Refunds: if you pay and then do not use what you paid for, we refund that payment. Once you have used the product under that payment, for example by preparing or submitting an application, it is not refundable. To ask for a refund, email [email protected] within 30 days of the payment. There is no separate withdrawal or cooling-off period.
- If you delete your account, any renewing subscription is cancelled first. The refund rule above applies to what you paid for before then.
- Prices do not include applicable taxes. Where tax applies, it is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
- If we change a price, we announce it at least one month in advance. The new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Stopping
You can stop at any time: export your data and delete your account from Settings, under Your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or someone's safety prevents it. Unless the breach is serious, we give you 7 days' notice, during which you can still sign in to export your data; after that the account and its data are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. For a serious breach we may close the account straight away.
Responsibility
Veyquo is provided “as is”, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any job, listing or application will lead to a result. To the extent the law allows, Hence Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed opportunity, and its total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using Veyquo after that, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes are decided by the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to those courts.
